Jo Sterling
Jo Sterling is a movement artist, yoga instructor & meditation teacher. She is deeply committed to guiding all people on the path of realizing that their bodies are actual, literal miracles. Born to first generation immigrant parents from the Caribbean and raised in New York City, she took her first yoga and meditation class in college and decided to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019. Jo recently completed the rigorous study of Foundational Buddhist Teaching in the Gelug tradition of Tibet through the 200-hour Meditation Teacher Training Program at Three Jewels NYC in partnership with Nike.
In addition to yoga - Jo is a runner, an aerialist, and a lover of Haitian Dance and Soca music. She is a former NCAA Division I Athlete in three different sports - having competed in rowing, track & field and cross country at Fordham University. Before launching her own wellness venture, she spent about ten years recruiting engineers in Mountain View, CA and NYC and creating mindfulness and wellness programming at Google. Whether it's through moving, sitting still, breathing more intentionally or designing your life - she is excited to support people in infusing all areas of their lives and connections with wellness.
